The Claytor Ranch is located just south and east of Jeffrey City, Wyoming. The ranch is ideally situated almost in the exact center of the State. The land consists of 5978 deeded acres. The ranch also holds State of Wyoming and BLM grazing permits. The property is currently utilized as cattle grazing operation, sub-leased to third party operators. The Claytor Ranch owners are interested in leasing the property rights for solar and/or wind development. The location of the ranch and topography of the land is well suited for wind or solar farms. Buildable acreage is estimated at 5141 acres. For electrical infrastructure, there are two substations, and a 500KW transmission line. One substation is located just north of HWY 287, within a mile and a half of the northern deeded parcels. The second substation is located within the deeded boundary of the southern deeded parcel. The transmission line bisects the southern parcels and a is a half a mile west of the northern parcels.
